Remember, the developers have confirmed a NG+ mode for God of War Ragnarok will be released. We do expect the same from God of War Ragnarok, and since the 2018 title took four months from launch to add a New Game Plus mode, we expect Ragnarok to get one in the first quarter of 2023. There was also the addition of the Realm Tears, different enemy movements/attacks, and some excellent additional content in its NG+ mode. The 2018 title offered a wealth of new items in NG+ mode and new customization options with more powerful versions of existing armors, talismans, and enchantments. While nothing has been confirmed just yet, going by God of War 2018's updates, we might see the NG+ mode for Ragnarok in early 2023. This, however, is likely to change in the future, going by what Sony Santa Monica Studio did with God of War 2018. While you can start a new game at a higher difficulty level, for example, there's no carry-over of progress and no NG+ to sink your blades into. At the time of writing, God of War Ragnarok does not have a New Game Plus mode.
